Hawaiian Hospitality Training
Upon Successful Completion of this Course of Instruction, the Student will have received sufficient training as to
qualify for an entry-level position in the hospitality and tourism industry. Some of the positions include, but are
not limited to: Hotel and Cruise line Front Desk Agent, Reservation Agent, Night Auditor, PBX Operator, Porter
Clerk, Porter, Valet, Door Attendant, Security Officer, Host, Server, Room Service Order Taker, Cook,
Housekeeper, Tour Guide, Tour Escort, Tour Director, Airline Customer Service Agent, Airline Reservation Agent,
Travel Agent, or Rental Car Agent.
The student receives instruction in guest service, Hawaiian, computer skills, hospitality, front office operations,
travel sales, transportation, destinations and career development.
Graduates receive ACT&T certificates in Hawaiian hospitality and tourism, plus individual course certificates
from the Educational Institute of American Hotel and Lodging Association, and The Travel Institute.
